Education Project

The project covers 36 communities of Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi, elaboration of the healthcare education program and preparation of the health educators. The project is partners with other two consortia and prepared information materials, training modules and trainers for them as well. The project is ongoing.

The project is being implemented in partnership with Curatio International Foundation, Public Union Bemoni and Georgian Healthcare Support Initiative.
2003-2004

Management of Severe Cases of Children of 0-3

The project envisaged urgent medical service for 40,000 children with insurance policies, free pediatric consulting, active, passive and retrospective management of the severe cases.

2001-2003

Integration of Deaf Children

Within the framework of the project methodological manuals were prepared and issued for teachers, complex training-seminars were held for parents of the deaf children. Almost 40 young teachers were trained.

2002-2003

Information Campaign on Infectious Diseases

Rage, Malaria, Botulism, and Hepatitis - within the framework of the project 100,000 information materials.

2002

Monitoring of the Social Assistance for the Vulnerable Families

The project envisaged selective monitoring of 45,000 families and creation of the database:

creation of the automatic system of data input, current analyses and report generation
creation and automatization of the monitoring selection methodology
creation of the monitoring instruments, preparation of the field interviews.
